Baby Shower Re-cap

Remember the baby shower I gushed about and made you look at all the projects I did....well, here's the re-cap.  I swear this is the last post...lol!...but the new mommy to be just loved how it turned out and considering she's not crafty, it meant a lot.  :)
My glowing Sister-In-Law with the Martha Stewart poof balls hanging in the air.
I hung them with thin thread that had been tossed over tree branches.  Of everything, this got the most compliments.
The banner that hung over the swing where she opened presents.
And the circles on the rice krispy cake.  :)
Ok, I promise that's it.  :)  Thanks for letting me share.

The baby is due in about a month and I can't wait!!  It's my first niece or nephew and I can't wait to be an Aunt.  Especially since I'll get to take care of the little one when my SIL goes back to work in the late fall.  Waa Hoo!

Have a fabulous weekend,

New Roxie Papers

Here's a sneak peak at the new Roxie papers in the layout that my croppers will be making for FREE!  If you're cropping with me Saturday (there's still space but it's filling fast so contact me asap) you'll get the chance to make this layout for free.
Not into the plaid papers?  It's reversible!  Just flip them over to reveal the beautiful pink floral paper on the back.  Sweet, huh?  Check out both sides of the new papers.

This afternoon, the girls in my crop club will be getting to see all of the new papers in person, tons of the new embellishments and they'll be getting their books early!  I'll see you this afternoon ladies.  :)

Want the early perks like my girls are getting now?  Sign up for my crop club!  My Club 1 is full, but I've got spaces in Club 2.  Last session, every one of my girls earned well over the guaranteed minimum of $25.00 in hostess rewards.

Plus, if you're in a club (or host a show) you'll have the chance to receive the brand new exclusive Cricut cartridge Art Philosophy bundled with 3 coordinating stamp sets and 3 dimensional elements sheets for 1/2 off!  See the flyer HERE.  At just $49.50, that's one heck of a deal you shouldn't pass up.  Sign up for a club or schedule your workshop party soon to get this great special!  Have questions or want to see the new cartridge in person?  Stop by the crop and say hi!  Saturday, 10am to 9pm at Party Creations 5570 Wilson Ave., Grandville 49418.

Furniture?

While CIJ was posting away (I love scheduled posts) I was busy with other projects in our home.  It all started with a visit to anawhite.com......oye....she got me going on a chair for B.
I altered her plans to make it 3 inches taller.  Something you have to do when your son is in the 95% for height...and you want it to last more than 3 months.  :)
It fits!  And he loves it and will now be able to scrapbook at his desk at the appropriate height.
Now all I have to do is paint it his favorite color - red.

Strawberries!

Now this is what I call strawberries!!
The best part is that the cute little kiddo holding them will eat a ton of them.  He loves strawberries and can eat about 4 of those plus his regular food at one meal.  At least I know he'll eat some good food while they are in season.  :)

Have a great weekend,

CIJ: Day 10

Now that I've seen the new book, and had a chance to see what's retiring, I'm here to tell you that you NEED to take advantage of today's sale if you can.  Today is all about cardstock!  The way we are going to sell them in the new book is going to change.  It's not really for the worse if you sit down and think about it because more colors of cardstock will come with the Level 2 kits now, but now is the time to stock up on your favorite colors if you can.  We've always sold 24 packs of every color we have plus the variety packs in 10 different seasonal packs of 6 colors each.  In the new book, there will be 5 seasons of 12 colors and you can order packs of those cardstocks as usual.  However, we will only be offering 24 packs of 15 individual colors in the new book.  Here are the 24 packs that will be available in the new book too: black, white daisy, colonial white, vanilla cream, chocolate, cocoa, desert sand, bamboo, sweet leaf, pacifica, smoothie, creme brulee, olive, cranberry and outdoor denim.

Stock up on your favorites!  All 24 packs of individual (and combo) cardstocks are on sale for just $8.50.  Just let me know which ones you'd like using the form below (or email me) and get all stocked up.  :)

CIJ: Day 9

Ribbon is something I just can't live without!  I add it to nearly every project I make.  In fact, I need to head back to the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog and start playing along again.  I've gotten away from it with the excitement from Convention and the new book....which reminds me...new ribbons are coming in the new book!  Yea!!

The "Store" is open!

The Scraptabulous Studio Store is now open.  I've got quite a bit of stock listed in it right now and some handmade items as well.  Blog readers have the rest of this week before the link gets put on the CTMH consultant bulletin boards and they have a chance to buy some of my stock so take a look soon!  I'll be putting many more items on as I can get things photographed and priced.  If you're local, I can deliver.  Just send me an email!

Thanks & happy clearance shopping,

CIJ: Day 8

You can't stamp from yesterday's sale without blocks!  So, today's sale is 15% off all of our acrylic blocks.  Just pick the ones you need from the list and hit the add to cart button.  :)

CIJ: Day 6

I've got to have bling!  It's nearly a necessity for every card and layout I make.  Even on my son's pages I work it in somehow.  Just to give you an idea, our zoo trip page even has the Mocha Opaques on it!  Remember this one?...
For CIJ I'm offering all of the sparkles packs as a complete set for a discount.  The same goes for the opaque pearls!  Just pick one or both sets below.  If you're at WNJ  and can't see the form, the sparkle pack is $9.50 and the pearl pack is $7.00.  Sorry ladies, it's just not going to work there.  :(

CIJ: Day 5

Today is all about the punches!  I truly wish we had more - maybe at convention - but in the mean time, you should have them all!  Nothing beats the speed of a punch.

EDITED TO ADD: We will be getting an exclusive Cricut Cartridge with the new Idea Book!!  This will not replace punches, but believe me folks, it's a biggie.  For CIJ, punches are still on sale...and really, do you want to whip out your machine and a cartridge to round a corner....I'm just sayin'....  ;)

For CIJ every punch we have is on sale!  Just pick which ones you'd like and send me your request.

Bank Loan for Scrap Supplies?

Do you think they would approve something like that?  I'm hearing so much today from convention now that they've had general session and gotten the new books there.

The biggest news is that we've finally got a "cutting system."  Do you have a cricut?  You'll need one!  We have an exclusive cart package that comes with the cart, three stamp sets that coordinate and chipboard that coordinates with the stamps and cart!!!!!!!  The cart is full.  Has an alpha, shapes, 3-D boxes/bags....from what I've seen it's awesome!!  Plus, the stamp sets tell you right on the cling sheet what size to cut the image from the cart so it matches!!  Top it off with spiral cuts that make flowers on the cart too....OMGosh, pure crafting bliss! I'm hearing 3 different flower types and 10 boxes... Best part is, you can get it as a hostess rewards item!!!!!!!!!!

I've also seen the new Roxie papers - sooooo cute!  We're getting a cork alpha that's self adhesive and also can take ink and colors, button size bling, something called icing sheets which looks to be like rockin' transparency type stuff.

Sigh....I love CTMH....

CIJ: Day 4

Everyone knows how much I need my ink and I think everyone else should have some too!  Today's special is ink of course.  :)  Without ink, I would never have been able to create this many cards from the leftovers of the You & Me kit.  This was all made (minus bases) from what my friend Annette gave me from her kit after completing it.  I think she was a bit shocked when I said I could make at least 4.  Imagine her surprise when she sees what she'll be getting back...

I hope she'll be pleased with what I created for her.  I used just what she gave me and kept things simple to conserve supplies.  I did minimal cutting with the stamping to show how easy it is to whip up cute cards w/o taking hours.  This is why everyone needs ink.  :)

Individual ink pads are on sale for $4.50 and can be ordered by filling in the text box with your choices before hitting add to cart.  Ink pad sets are just $24.95 and marker sets are only $14.00.  To order these, select pads or markers from the drop down and then the color season you wish to purchase.

Sorry, just found out more....

The book is going to be 100% size!  No more squinting or trying to figure out just how big something will be.  Yea!!

AND - the hostess credit will be expanding.  Waa Hoo!  If you're not already signed up for my clubs, now is seriously the time!!  Club 1 is almost full and Club 2 has plenty of space free.  Contact me for details and to sign up today!  Earn all the fab new products for free!!  Can't wait for your month in club - host a show.  The "rules" have really changed when it comes to parties ladies....I guarantee a CTMH party/show/gathering or whatever you'd like to call it is NOT like anything you've ever been to before.  Book now for an August or September show with the brand new book!

Convention Updates Info

We interupt the regularly scheduled Christmas in July posts to bring you these convention updates....

Yes, it's convention time folks.  The few days a year when I go crazy and am glued to twitter and facebook because I can't be there in person.  I just wanted to put up a quick update for everyone.  Pics will come later, I promise.  In the mean time...here's the scoop (minus boring consultant stuff)...

New paper pack names are...Believe, Dreamin', Elemental, Mischief, Roxie, Sonoma, Typeset & Wonderland.  My guesses are that Mischief or Sonoma is the fall theme pack and Wonderland is the winter.  No pics yet...but coming soon I'm sure.

B&T papers are going to be cardstock weight and two different patterns/colors on each side just like the You & Me kit (yes! score one for me being right about this one!!)

I've only seen one pic of a stamp set......so gorgeous!!  I'll be putting up pics or links as I can get them and my books are due in this weekend.  I'll snap pics of pages and get them up when I can.

To see the whole book in person plus create free projects with the new stuff and crop all day with me, be sure to attend my July 30 crop!  Email or comment for all the details.

CIJ: Day 3

We're bringing the magic back to scrapbooking today with the latest How-To Book - Magic.
This book is filled with incredible ideas, templates and cutting guides to send your layouts into a whole new territory.  There are a variety ways to hide journaling, expand photos, insert mini-albums right on pages and how to make everything work after it's in your page protector.  The customers who have purchased this book already are raving about it.  Pick up your copy today for just $24.95!

Form Errors.....errrrr

It has come to my attention that some friends of mine at a certain employer are unable to see or access the forms at the bottom of every CIJ posting.  My friends, sometimes technology really stinks!  After some testing it seems that it's not IE as was first suspected but the employer settings.  So, if you're unable to use the form, please feel free to just send me an email with your selections.  Sorry for the hassle!  I swear that if you see or use it on a different computer it's fab.  If there's ever a day where you've got no idea what's really on sale, just pop me an email and I'll 'splain it to ya Lucy.  :)

On a side note, all 12 days of the sale will be open until July 22 at midnight.  So, if you jump in on day 10, you can still get all the deals from prior days.

Thanks so much for your understanding,

CIJ: Day 2

Brad Bonanza!!  Brads really are wonderful and versatile.  From holding down velum, to creating a butterfly trail, the more the merrier!  This card has 23 bitty brads on it that define the flight path of this beautiful butterfly.  And yes, I did get a bit antsy and photographed it a touch to early.  If you're the first to correctly tell me why, I'll send the card to you.  Just a bonus for today.  :)

Today's deal is none other than brads.  Any brad assortment and/or bitty brads are only $3.99 each for CIJ!  Purchase all the assortments and bitty brads for a total of 1,280 brads for just $31.90.  That makes each brad just 2 cents!

Just click the boxes below for each set you'd like, or click the buy all box to get them all, and hit the add to cart button - it's just that easy!

Stop back tomorrow for another magical deal!

Christmas in July: Day 1

It's the first day of this years CIJ!  I thought we should start it out with a Christmas project.  How about a layout using "Valentines" papers.  Really?!?!  Yep, check it out...
See!  I'm not that crazy.  Just thinking outside the box again.  :)  This layout was created using quite a few punches from the scallop circle.  Can you spot them all?  There are 13 total.  Here are some closeups...

Today's special is the Sweetheart Level 2 Paper Packet and the 2" Scallop Circle Punch at 20% off retail!  Plus, I'll include my cutting guide for the layout for free.  That's all three items for just $22.30.  Just fill in your name, email and click the button below to instantly email me your purchase.  I'll keep track of everything over the next two weeks and send you an invoice at the end.

Happy Shopping,

Many Thanks

Many thanks to all of you who have been stopping by this week to see all the baby shower projects & thank you for leaving such kind comments.  You make my day!

These thank you cards are a surprise for my Sister-In-Law.  She doesn't know that I've been making them.  Thanks to my cricut and my friend Nicole, these finally got the right size deer.  They are on an Imagine cartridge, which Nicole has and I think by now she's cut me roughly 200 deer in different sizes with her machine.  Thank You!!!  The onsie is from the New Arrival cartridge on my machine.  Many thanks is a Hero Arts stamp punched with the Modern Label punch from SU.

While she's been at it, I've also had her cut some vinyl deer for the nursery wall.  I'll be heading over soon to help my self proclaimed un-crafty Sister-In-Law put them up on the wall.  :)

Banner & "Cake" Decor

Yes, it's more from baby shower land.  :)  I've got the banner and the "cake" decor to show you today.
Sorry about the bad lighting.  Darn banners just don't fit in a light box and it's about midnight when I'm trying to take these photos.  Ha-ha!
Up close so you can see the details.

We are not having a regular cake because the mother-to-be doesn't really like cake.  She prefers rice krispy treats in a variety of flavors instead.  Seriously - she had a rice krispy treat wedding cake - it was AWESOME!  However, you can't really put frosting on something like that, so I got creative.
These are fancy tooth picks basically with punched circle heads and some cricut cuts on them.  The full wording will be Welcome Baby Church (their last name) and each word will be on a different layer of the cake.  In my head it's going to be cool.  Here's hoping it works.  :)

Thanks for looking,
