May 9 Fundraising Crop

Looking for a place to crop? Look no further! On May 9th I will be at New Community Church for their youth group's fundraiser. The kids are heading to York, PA for a mission trip and are hosting an all day crop with the proceeds going toward their trip expenses. There will be lunch & dinner provided, a Creative Memories Consultant, a Stampin' Up Consultant and myself there to help you with any creative crisis you may have. Plus, the kids will be on hand to help you bring your supplies in and out of the crop.

You can choose to attend all day, from 9am to 9pm for $30, or just half the day for $20 (morning from 9am to 3pm with lunch or afternoon from 3pm to 9pm with dinner). To attend, please contact Kelly Gorney @ (616) 784-8289 or myself @ (616) 648-7455/gloriajrogers@gmail.com and one of us will get you a registration form.

I am planning to have 2 different make'n'take cards & 2 different page kits (one for vacations & one for kids) as well as brand new Summer Idea Books with some awesome deals! Please stay tuned to my blog and my newsletter for all the details & deals. I will post the cards and kits before the crop so you can see what they look like and plan ahead.

If you don't already receive my newsletter, please send a blank email to gloriajrogers@gmail.com with "Subscribe" in the subject line. My May newsletter will have all the details of the new book and the specials I'll be offering that day.

Hope to see many of you there!
As always, Happy Scrapin' 'n' Stampin',

Boom-Di-Ada Creative Basics Cards

I made a 4 card thank you set the other night with the Boom-Di-Ada creative basics collection. I used a stamp set I had on hand for the sentiment and frame. I also used liquid glass to highlight some of the dots on the papers.

Tickled Pink for National Scrapbooking Month

National Scrapbooking Month (technically May) is starting early with CTMH. There is a brand new kit called Tickled Pink that CTMH will be offering starting on the 15th of April and will continue through the end of May.

This kit will be free with a qualifing purchase of $60.00 in stamp sets or can also be bought outright at a special discount price of $34.95. The kit includes: 2 patterned papers with glitter, 2 patterned papers without glitter, 4 sheets of white daisy cardstock, 1 sheet of blush cardstock, 1 sheet of crystal blue cardstock, 1 sheet of coordinating white daisy die cuts, 1 My Acrylix I Am stamp set, 1 mini-medley accents white daisy collection, 1 foam tool & 1 instructional brochure to help you create 2 beautiful 2 page layouts. The feature colors for this kit are blush, crystal blue, sweet leaf, twilight and white daisy.

If you're like me, you always want to see a close up before you purchase anything, so I've taken pictures of the kit that every consultant had an opportunity to purchase. Below you'll find pictures showing all the items in the kit.

I'm super excited about this kit and think it's just gorgeous! It's great for pages about yourself (something we never scrap about, but really should), girl pages of any age, mother's day cards, birthday cards for women...the possibilities are endless.

Add it to your wish list and come April 15th we'll all be Tickled Pink that National Scrapbooking Month is coming early!

Survey Results

The results are in...and most of you can't live without any of your scrapbooking supplies. An overwhelming majority said that every kind of supply they had was something that they needed. You also said that any time on the weekend, Friday night included, is the best time for a workshop.

Thanks so much for participating in my surveys & be sure to take this month's poll too!

Happy scrapin' 'n' stampin'!
