For Always Questions & Corrections

First up - the corrections.  An oops was found by a fellow consultant - Thanks, Carol! - and those who have purchased already will be getting a revised workshop guide ASAP.

In the mean time, if you're cutting, all card bases should be made at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  I was clearly brain dead by the time I got to that part.

Also, when you cut the hand writing on white paper - be careful of the direction it's going.  I'm going to put a note on the papers so you get it going the right way before you cut.

On to the questions.  Yes, I am happy to ship to Canadian consultants.  Your shipping is still free.  :)

Consultants and former consultants are more than welcome to purchase a full kit.  I can still send you the release if you'd like it.  Just let me know you're a consultant by sending me a separate email after your purchase.

I want to see what the kit looks like with other papers too!  So, yes, I will be making at least one of the layouts using a different kit's papers and I will post it on the blog when I'm done.

Thanks so much for your interest everyone!  Your support is truly appreciated.

One last little note.  Did you all see the survey I've got going on the right hand side?  Lots of voting is what I need to know what you want!  I'm also thinking that there might be some FREE mini tutorials for the Dream Pop stuff I make.  That way if you've never gotten a tutorial for me you'll be able to get one for free and see what things look like.  Kind of like a try it before you buy it, but you'll actually be getting a free tutorial too!  Sound good?  Then help me decide what to make by voting.  :)  Thanks so much!

For Always Workshop - It's Finally Ready!

It's been about a million days since I started this...ok, maybe not really that many...I started it, life got in the way, I almost finished it and then my computer decided to really hate me.  I'm happy to report that I'm smarter than my computer and I can recreate my own stuff, so now it's finally ready!!

I'm please to present my official For Always Workshop.
This is a customer and consultant workshop.
Additional photos can be found after the purchase information.

The Complete Workshop, Local: The workshop includes everything you'll need to create 2 double page layouts, 1 single page layout and 6 standard size cards.  You'll receive 4 full size packages of embellishments, the complete For Always paper packet, 2 additional sheets of white cardstock, all of the pre-stamped Cricut cuts you'll need and the workshop instructions with cutting guides.

The complete workshop is $35.00.  To order, please contact me directly by commenting, emailing, calling, texting or you can even Facebook me.  I will be placing  orders for this option on Wednesday, April 10 and Monday, April 29.  Additional orders will be placed on an as needed basis.

The Complete Workshop, Shipped:  The shipped version contains all of the same items as the local version, just shipped to your door.  Simply order the following items on my website by joining the For Always Workshop gathering and selecting the items listed below.  I will mail you the additional photo mat pieces and the stamped Cricut cuts separately.  The workshop instructions and cutting guides will be emailed to you unless you contact me and request a printed copy.  Your total will be slightly more than the local cost, but it will be delivered right to your door.

The Consultant Workshop: It's a mini kit just for you!  You are purchasing the stamped Cricut cuts only.  I will be putting up a photo below later today showing you specifically what's included.  You will receive from me, 14 Cricut cut pieces that are pre-stamped for the layouts and cards and 1 "I Love You" page title.  You can then purchase all the additional supplies listed from yourself instead of from me.  The Consultant Mini Workshop Kit cost is $4.99 and includes shipping.

You will also receive as a FREE gift from me, the complete workshop guide and a consultant release document.  This will allow you to use the workshop guide to host your own workshop for your own customers.  The release also has helpful pricing tips and all the dos and don'ts for putting on your own event. As always, if you have any questions, just contact me.

To purchase the Consultant Mini Workshop Kit, just use the PayPal button below.  Your free workshop documents will be emailed within 24-48 hours (often less) and your purchased stamped Cricut cuts and title will be mailed out within 2 business days.

When you're done creating, you'll have embellishments left over,
but this is all that remains of my paper scraps.
I don't know about you, but I've never had so little left from a paper packet.
Most of that is cardstock that goes in to my scrap files for Cricut cuts!

Not quite sure if this kit is for you?  How about a closer look at some of the cards and pages.

I hope you're just as excited about the For Always Workshop as I am!!  I was seriously over the moon with how much of the paper I was able to use.  I even bragged to my husband knowing full well he wouldn't get the gist of how awesome it was.  :)

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, just holler.  I'm here to help.

P.S. I've added a nifty little Pintrest feature to my blog.  Now, to pin an image, all you have to do is hover over the photo and click on the Pintrest logo that comes up!  It automatically ensures that the pin is linked to the exact post you are pinning from even if you are viewing the main home page.  Woo Hoo!  Try it out on this post maybe and let me know what you think.

P.P.S. Here's a quick Q & A for any consultants with questions about their kit and why/how purchasing the stamped Cricut cuts works.

Consultant Release Q & A:
Why can't I just buy the workshop templates from you?  CTMH policy forbids the sale of templates by a consultant.  However, you can purchase a handmade item from me (like my stamped cuts) and I can give you the templates for free.

Can I hold a workshop using the files you sent me or do my customers need to buy their own cuts to receive the free templates as well?  The stamped cuts available for purchase have been priced specifically for a workshop release.  This means you may use the documents I send you to conduct your own workshops in person.  You may not, however, simply forward the documents to customers at will.  You must hold an actual workshop where you pass out the physical documents in person.  This works on the honor system and I'm trusting that my fellow CTMH sisters are honest folks.  Please be kind so I can continue to release tutorials in this fashion.  Thank you.  :)  If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Why aren't you just sharing the files for free?  As much as I'd love to share openly, I simply can't.  From the initial idea to a finished tutorial/workshop file takes a long time and a lot of work.  If you like the workshop, please purchase the stamped Cricut cuts in support and in turn, I'll keep offering tutorials and workshops in the future.  I LOVE to design and can't wait to create more!  Thank you in advance for your support.  :)

StudioJ

During the StudioJ sale I was hard at work trying to catch up on some layouts.  There were 3 from my son's album that I had to wrap up and get printed.

One from Halloween a few years ago when he was a glow stick robot...

One from a trip to the museum...

And one of him and his adorable little cousin who is now much larger than in these photos...

If you ever have questions about StudioJ, are curious, or want to know more about it, just holler!  You can make it as quick and easy or as detailed and complex as you want.  The best part is that you can play as much as you want for free.

It's really quite easy and fun too!  In fact, I'm considering spending my upcoming retreat doing an entire year for my son.  Yep, a whole year completed in a weekend.  Since I'll be cooking and catering to my attendees, it's really tempting.  I'd be completely packed for myself with just my laptop and a notebook.  Seriously tempting.....better check the wifi strength for the house we will be at.  :)

What do you think?  I'd love your feedback.  It would be my first weekend retreat doing just digital.  Have you done it before?  Let me hear all about it!

Retreat Planning + News

*Phew!*

Ok, I just needed a breath there.  Things have been nuts.  My son turned 5 and we had a huge Lego Pirate party.  Yes, I'll share photos as soon as I can get to editing them.

I had a bunch of happy hostesses take advantage of the March Jump for Joy special - GO GIRLS!!  They rocked it out and all of them got major bucks for free shopping sprees.

My computer software that I use for all of my tutorial cutting guides had a complete meltdown......yeah, not so cool.  I'm working to recreate everything now for the For Always workshop/kit/tutorial.  Thanks in advance for your understanding.

I'm gearing up for my semi-annual weekend retreat that's less than a month away!  For those of you who are attending and really need to get layouts done, check out this post from fellow consultant Pamela who shares how she rocks the weekend retreats.  http://reflectionsofmyartandsoul.com/how-to-prepare-for-a-productive-scrapbook-retreat-or-crop/

And I'm planning the redecoration of all the main living areas in my house.  I built and painted a shelf for decor in the bathroom and I started sanding and gel staining the dining chairs this week.  (To save my sanity I'm doing 2 at a time.)  I've got great timing, I know.  And yes, I'll be sharing before and afters of the house projects too.

In between the craziness, I'm going to try to share my StudioJ layouts from last month until For Always is ready.  Again, thanks for understanding!

Don't forget to smile, it's the most important part of your outfit.

I didn't forget

Sorry I haven't posted anything more regarding the For Always workshop kit in the past few days.  I was unable to take any additional photos due to personal time constraints.  Then Murphy's Law happened and I ran into some formatting issues with the software I'm making the tutorial in.  I'm kind of picky, so if it doesn't look right or format correctly, I won't release it to everyone.  Yep, self proclaimed perfectionist here.  :)  So sorry for the delay.  I know a few of you are excited to get the kit.  Please know I'm working hard to fix the issues and get it out as soon as possible.  Thank you for your patience!

P.S.  Is anyone else out there a perfectionist like me?

For Always Layout

It's not the best photo, but that what happens when you are photographing at 11 pm.  :)

At least it gives you a good idea of the first of two double page layouts that will be in the kit.  I'll be taking some better photos this weekend of this layout and have them up for Monday along with the other layout.

For now, I'm off and running with some last minute prep for this weekend's events.

Have a great weekend!

Super Sale!!!

I'm preempting my own post of For Always projects today to bring you news of a super sale!

Right now on my shopping site, there are new "While Supplies Last" items up for grabs.  There are some AWESOME deals out there!!

I hope a lot of you will hop on over there and take a peek, but before you do, I want you to know I'm placing an order this Saturday morning for some of those products and can help you save on shipping.  So, if you're like me and want to score a few deals but don't want to pay more in shipping than the cost of the sale items, please email, call, txt, etc. to let me know what you'd like to get.  I'll place the order all together and everyone will split the shipping cost.

So head to my site, contact me with what you would like to get before 10 am on Saturday, March 9th, and I'll get back to you with a total Saturday evening or Sunday.  Please keep in mind that a product you want may be gone by that time.  If you really "need" it and can't wait, it might be best to order on your own.

Lastly, I'll be at the Girls Night Out event Friday night (hope to see you there!) so if I don't answer your call, email, txt, etc....just leave me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Back tomorrow with more For Always,
