Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

After 8 months of not creating a thing in my studio (yes, it's been a LONG time) I'm so happy to be back here today.  My desk is dusty, I need to figure out where everything is, and I'm feeling back in the groove after just attending a scrapbooking weekend retreat.  I hope I remember how to do riding a bicycle, right?  :)

Happy crafting my cyber friends!

Without change we can never move forward.

Yes, it's that time again.  I do love change, but all in the name of forward progress!  As many of you know I've joined South Hill Designs as an Independent Artist.  I've been so busy with my new "job" (it's so much fun!) that I simply have not had the time to devote to my blog or even scrapbooking on a regular basis.  CTMH has also made some changes and while I'm very happy for them and the direction they are growing toward it's just not a journey I can continue on with them at this time.  At the end of January I will be leaving CTMH.  So sad!!!  I've met so many wonderful people along this path and I hope you'll all stay in touch!!

So what now?!

I've decided to leave my blog in tact so everyone can still find all the posts, tutorials etc.  How horrible would it be to head out on Pinterest while at a crop, click on your pin hoping to be directed to my site and BAM...nothing.  GHASP!!!  We can't have that at all!  So, I'm leaving everything up.  :)

I'm also hoping to get back into writing tutorials at some point, but this time with a little different twist.  Since I won't be a CTMH consultant, I can price them a little more appropriately and I won't necessarily be using all CTMH products.  You'll also just be purchasing a digital file without any physical items that will be sent to you.  That being said, I'll still be scrapbooking the same way I always have...some things just don't my tutorials and page designs will still have the same style as always.  The only difference will be for my CTMH consultant friends who may need to make an adjustment on things to show their customers only CTMH products when they use my designs as workshops.

I'm hoping to continue to share my creations with you, just maybe on a less structured/regular basis.  Let's all hope it's not every other month or 3 though!  :)

Take care all!

Amazing Generosity

Yes, I'm a bad blogger.  No, I have not been scrapbooking or creating much at all lately so I don't have much to share in that department.  However, that doesn't mean that I haven't been having fun.  In fact, I've been having the time of my life!!

Check out what I did this weekend.  See if you can spot me in the video!

Let me just say, it was AMAZING!! I'm still trying to regroup from everything.  I learned so much, met so many wonderful people and got to chat with the corporate staff and owners one on one.  South Hill was so generous and giving to each and every artist!  Not to mention the stunning new exclusive products that were released.  Have you ever seen a locket bracelet that looked like this??

Yep, that's a rectangular locket with a leather adjustable band.
I saw it in person this past weekend and it's STUNNING!!

I would sincerely love to share South Hill with each of you.  Whether you're just learning about who this new company is or wanting that new bracelet.  Maybe you're curious about what hosting a social with South Hill is like - I can tell you it's nothing like any home party you've ever been to before.  Or maybe you'd like to join me on my journey with this generous, positive and incredibly supportive company as we rocket to the top, because that's where I'm headed!

I can't type that comment, email myself or facebook message me for you.  But what I can do is guarantee that you won't regret it.  Even if all you do is learn what South Hill is all about, I promise you'll walk away feeling positive.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you and helping to make your day a little brighter.  :)

Scrapbook on a Chain!

Hello All!

Long time no post...I know.  Where does the time go???  I've been busy gearing up for the mini man's first year of all day school.   Kindergarten is all day here and I'm sure going to miss my little mini man!!  They grow up so fast.  I know he's ready though.  He's such a smarty farty and I know he'll have tons of fun making new friends at his school.  We've also been trying to cram in some family time, celebrate lots of family birthdays and work on projects around our home.  What have you all been up to??  Whatever it is, I hope you've had a wonderful time and made some lasting memories.  :)

I have some very big and exciting news to share today as well!  I've decided to take a new and exciting adventure and become a South Hill Designs artist!!

South Hill allows customers to create unique custom jewelry through a variety of lockets, charms, chains and more.  Let me show you some of the beautiful creations that have been made.

And there are so many different styles and's like creating a mini scrapbook you can wear!!  Seriously, have you ever tried to wear a scrapbook page?  I DO NOT recommend trying to put a chain on your latest 12x12 layout.  ;)

I encourage you to learn more about South Hill Designs and see what they have to offer by visiting my website and liking my new facebook page.  I'm really looking forward to sharing my story with others in my gorgeous new locket!  I promise I'll get a photo taken and uploaded soon.  In the mean time, check it out and feel free to holler with any questions.  If you love it like I did, be sure to check out the info on becoming a South Hill Designs artist.  It's a rapidly growing company and a great opportunity.  I'm just starting to grow my team and would love to have you join me on this fun new journey!  There is NO wait list, a low kit cost and we are now welcoming artists in both the US and Canada!  Please contact me with any questions you may have.  I'm here to help!

Have a wonderful week & remember - don't wear your pages - lockets are much easier! ;)

Are you on Facebook? Or Pintrest?

Ok peeps, it's important info time.  Are you on Facebook?  If the answer is yes, you are probably going to want to "like" my Facebook page.  It's not only the place where I often post current projects in the works, but I may or may not be putting up a few flash sales exclusive to my Facebook friends.

Just sayin' might want to like me......that is if you like sales......did you get that subtle hint?  ;-)

Also - when you're out there, make sure you don't miss anything from me by changing your settings to see all of my posts.  It's easy!  Just hover over the liked button, because of course you've already liked my page.  Select Settings from the drop down and then select All Updates.  Easy Peasy!!

Oh, and you might want to check me out on Pintrest too....feeling like I might need to get into this whole "pin it to win it" idea.

Enjoy your Monday!
